Halloween Ghost: Say “Boo” for free

A Fun and inexpensive way to decorate for Halloween. Trick-O-Treat!

My mom did this every year when we were growing up. It is one of those decorating gems that most people never think of. It is a very simple, inexpensive and easy to store in the off season Halloween Decoration. Nothing to get tangled. No lights to stop working. A simple, easy to create, and fun Halloween decoration.

Supplies:
1 Twin flat sheet: White (of course)
Ribbon, raffia, or string to tie
Black felt or Black construction paper
One outdoor fixture (you know, the one attached to your house)

Step 1:
Carefully cover lamp fixture with sheet.

Step 2:
Tie up ghost neck with string, ribbon or raffia. your choice.

Step 3:
Cut out Black felt into 1 circle for the mouth
Cut out Black felt into 2 scary eye shapes. This is where the ghost gets his personality, so be creative and have fun with it.

Step 4:
Attach felt eyes and nose to “ghost” head with strait pins.

Step 5:
Wait for it to get dark and flip the switch on those outdoor lights. Instant glowing scary, or funny (your choice) ghost.

The best thing about this super cute Halloween decoration is that you probably already have all the supplies in your home. Instant FREE and fun decorating. No storage bin required. Happy haunting!
