In Honor of National Martini Day …
It goes without saying, this classic, yet versatile cocktail deserves to be honored with it’s own National Day.
In honor National Martini Day, we are sharing a few of our favorites. Please share yours here as a comment below, or on our Facebook page. We’re so committed, we’ll even try a few of the suggested recipes ourselves ….
Two of Our Favorite Martinis:
“Cloudy” Vodka Martini – Some call it dirty, this one looks ‘cloudy’ to me.
Two parts vodka over ice. Shaken.
Place a teaspoon of Vermouth in a chilled martini glass. Swirl it around the entire glass to create a ‘film’ on the inside of the glass.
Pour the vodka into the glass. Add optional olives. Sit back and relax.
Extra Cold Peach Martini
When the straight vodka martini needs a more gentle approach, try this peach martini that Beth has perfected.
Pour 2 parts vodka, 2 part Peach Schnapps, 1 part triple sec over ice. Shake vigorously for about a minute.
Pour into a very anxious chilled glass (we keep ours in the freezer).
