Sippin’ Limoncello Cocktail
While I may not have made my own Limoncello, I brought together a store-bought brand and some vodka in a very cold glass – and they got along quite nicely. This sipping beverage – sweet, with a bite – was the perfect end of the day treat while making dinner.
As you will see from below, it’s easy. I wanted to write about it because I think Limoncello doesn’t get enough credit. Our neighbor introduced it to us awhile back and since then, we always have a bottle in our freezer. Yes, keep it in the freezer. If you choose not to mix it with vodka, Limoncello alone is a tasty treat.
For this quick cocktail, I simply take a very cold glass (I don’t want my vodka or limoncello to be lonely, so I always keep a martini glass in the freezer as well), 2 parts limoncello and 1 part vodka. Believe me, it’s all you need.
Mix and enjoy.
